This year, due to the continued travel restrictions brought upon by COVID-19, HOFEX which was originally scheduled from 12th to 14th May 2021, will be re-scheduled to 7th to 9th Sep- tember 2021 at the Hong Kong Con- vention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). ProWine Hong Kong, the international trade fair for wines and spirits, will continue to be held as part of HOFEX on the new date. The global sourcing activities have been disrupted hugely. Travel restric- tions and quarantine measures in 88 AMEFT 3 2021 many countries are affecting many overseas F&B professionals from at- tending the scheduled events. The postponement of the event to Sep- tember buys more time for the indus- try to recover and ensure a more dy- namic and cosmopolitan event. HOFEX Connect offers one-stop online busi- ness matchmaking services, lining up global suppliers with buyers to create high-value, engaging, and cost-effec- tive business opportunities. The first round of business matchmaking will take place in March.
