Come May and it’s time for IPACK-IMA 2022
IPACK-IMA is the three-yearly inter- national exhibition which represents an ideal stage for complete and trans- versal offer of cutting-edge materials and technologies in the processing and packaging sector and aimed at the entire consumer and durable goods in- dustry.
An highly specialized international trade fair where innovation, sustain- ability and technology come together, thanks to the historical identity and strategic partnerships with the indus- try that has been part of IPACK IMA’s DNA since its first edition in 1961.
The last edition of the show was at- tended by more than 74,000 visitors, including 18,500 non-Italians from 146 different countries and more than 1,500 exhibitors.

the next edition of the show - to be held in Fiera Milan from 3rd to 6th May 2022 - great emphasis will be placed on design and innovation in packaging R&D, with two important events dedi- cated to this and taking place during the fair.
In fact, IPACK-IMA 2022 will host the Best Packaging Awards, an Italian prize organized by the Italian Packaging In- stitute, and the WorldStar Global Pack- aging Awards, an international award promoted by the World Packaging Or- ganisation - WPO, which collects every year more than 300 entries from over 34 countries to reward the continual advancement of the state of packaging design and technology.
IPACK-IMA 2022 will also be the venue for a renewed international network- ing and, in this context, it’s strategic the agreement with ITA Agency, signed with the aim of enhancing the presence of qualified international manufacturers from all over the world.
