IFEMA, a Safe Space
IFEMA MADRID has been working to en- sure that all its fairs are safe spaces against COVID-19. In practice, this means it has a protocol that covers all the necessary safety measures. These measures include organizing visitor flows and movement, capacity control, interpersonal distancing, online registration to avoid direct physical contact, temperature checks, wider aisles, and the latest technologies for the attend- ee counting and, especially, for air renewal in the halls.
LIVEConnect Platform
InterSICOP LIVEConnect, the content and networking platform launched in 2020, will continue to be active during the face-to-face meeting. In this way, the participating companies’ network- ing, lead generation, and content will be promoted all year round.

Trends in Machinery & Raw Materials
InterSICOP will be the showcase for exhibiting companies to display all the new products they are launching on the market, the result of innovation, technological change and progress in each sector. During the four days, at- tendees can learn about the latest machinery, services, ingredients, prod- ucts, articles and accessories for bak- ery, pastry, ice cream and coffee.
In addition to the stands themselves, the Fair will host the Innovation Forum space for exhibitors to make presenta- tions about their products.
Be a Champion
InterSICOP 2022 will host four ma- jor national competitions: MMAPE,
for Best Spanish Master Artisan Pastry Chef, the Fourth Spanish Ice Cream Championship, the Third Na- tional Student Pastry Championship, and the Fourth Artisan Bakery Cham- pionship.
Boosting Sustainability
For companies today, sustainability is no longer an option but an obliga- tion. Any project that aims to contin- ue over time must base its strategy on respect for the planet and society. So, IFEMA MADRID has published its Guide to Sustainable Participation in Trade Fairs to help companies and operators make their participation in trade fairs an example of good sustain- ability practices with a positive impact on the environment, the economy and society.
