Companies can register for a stand here: With the headline “Meet onsite. Connect online” the adapted concept focuses on business meetings and turn-key exhibition packages to maxi- mize exhibitors’ flexibility and business opportunities.
The more compact format of the FRUIT LOGISTICA SPECIAL EDITION, with turn-key exhibitor packages and a spacious hall layout, has the advantage of being COVID-compliant, giving the presenting companies flexibility, and helping them minimise their risks. The terms of cancellation that apply this time also facilitate cost-free cancellati- on up to four weeks before the event begins. The FRUIT LOGISTICA SPECIAL EDITION will be supplemented by new- ly developed content. There will also be a buyer programme, matchmaking and live streams of the event programme.
While the event takes place onsite, the digital elements such as meeting functions and broadcasting of the con- ference programme would be integra-
ted. The exhibitors will be asked to take a turn-key package. There will be three pre-defined stand sizes and packages will include the stand space, stand construction and access to robust in- ternet access; all these put together reduced investment, more time for exhibitors, and an opportunity to meet and reconnect in a very safe business- friendly environment.
Recognising the fact that the new dates might not be convenient for many; the organizer says they feel that hosting the event in spring offers a better opportunity than doing it in winter. It simply makes it more likely that a higher number of buyers from many parts of the world will be able to attend. It also gives three additio- nal months to plan ahead. Plus visitors will be finally able to enjoy Berlin in a warmer season.

400 companies from 40 countries re- presenting all areas of the value chain, from fresh produce to packaging, logi- stics, seeds and fertiliser, to machinery and technology, greenhouse technolo- gy and cultivation devices have already signed up. The registration is still open. The first registration phase until 20 November 2020 was reserved for pre- registered FRUIT LOGISTICA exhibitors, which include renowned companies like KÖLLA, Port International, Rijk Zwa- an, Hamburg Süd and KRONEN.
