  Meet at MEAT-TECH
Dedicated to processing and pa- ckaging solutions for meat, cold cuts and ready meals industries, MEAT- TECH by Ipack IMA will take place at Fiera Milano from May 17th to 20th, 2021. The co-location with Tutto- FOOD, the fair unveils great oppor- tunities for supply chains, creates relationships, intercepts different au- diences and also offers an all-around overview of the market.
MEAT-TECH will take place in ac- cordance with the strictest anti- Covid security protocols established by Fiera Milano as guarantee to ex- hibitors and visitors, as already expe- rienced with trade shows helded in the second half of 2020.
Supply chain, food safety and su-
stainability are only some of the trend topics in MEAT-TECH 2021. According to Ipack Ima Business Monitor in collaboration with MECS, good performance are also showed globally by the Fish & Seafood sector which, with over 126,400 million eu- ros in sales, sees a growth by +4.7% estimated in the period 2021- 2024.
Dairy is also among the fair focuses, in particular cheeses, that see 886 million kg expected for sales by the end of the year, for a value of over 9,000 million euros, with expected growth of the world market in the period 2021-2024 by + 0.9%, equal to 21,682 million kg for 178,795 mil- lion euros in sales.
Finally, to the cross themes in the fair, there is the offer of innovative
ingredients for complex recipes that look with growing interest to the market of free from or vegetal-based products.
The supporting associations of MEAT-TECH, carrying with them skills, knowledge and networking opportunities, represent the Italian manufacturing excellence: UCIMA (Italian Packaging Machinery Manuf- acturers' Association), ASSICA (the meat and cold cut producers' As- sociation) to represent cured meat (processed beef and pork products) and pork slaughtering companies, and ANIMA ASSOFOODTEC (the Ita- lian Association of Manufacturers of Machinery, Plant and Equipment for Food Production, Processing and Preservation.

TUTTOFOOD: Confluence of East and West at Milan
Asurge of hope awaits the exhi- bitors and visitors at Milan from 17th to 20th May 2021 where TUTTO- FOOD welcomes them. Food market analysts agree the food & beverage industry in the GCC region will remain intertwined with hospitality and travel during the ‘new normal’. According to Alpen Capital, food consumption in the GCC is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.3% from an estimated 51.5 million MT in 2018 to 60.7 million MT in 2023.
An ever-more international hub
In this scenario TUTTOFOOD, Milan’s international hub for the agri- food industry, will be the no-miss ap- pointment. It’s a restart for this niche businesses community to network and discover new trends.
The focus on the Middle East, be- sides the USA and Canada, will conti- nue in cooperation with associations and chambers of commerce. Top bu- yers will also be selected and hosted from the Far East and Europe (the UK, Germany, France, Spain, The Nether- lands). Among exhibitors, more than 550 brands are already confirmed to date, from Europe, North America
and the Far East, as well as Italy. TUTTOFRUIT will be the new area dedicated to fresh fruit and vegeta- bles and innovation in the IV and V ranges. The 2021 edition also focuses on the latest sectors launched – TUT- TOWINE, TUTTODIGITAL and TUTTO- HEALTH. More value will be added by MEAT-TECH, the IPACK-IMA exhibition dedicated to processing and packa- ging solutions for the meat, meat pro-
ducts and ready meal industry.
A place to talk and share –also digitally
TUTTOFOOD 2021 will also be an in- creasingly effective place to talk, view and touch everything related to in- novation. Evolution Plaza will present next generation digital transformation solutions and will be the core of the TUTTODIGITAL area. TUTTOFOOD also partners with Netcomm, the Italian digital commerce consortium, throug- hout the year. The Innovation Area will present the new TUTTOFOOD contest dedicated to innovation. Also making a return is the Retail Plaza, where in- ternational Retail and large-scale re- tailers will share their good practices.
The TUTTOFOOD hub is also
strengthened by the launch of the new Fiera Milano Platform, an ecosy- stem of digital services ranging from websites and social media, to remote exhibition visit and, real-time negotia- tion features.
TUTTOFOOD 2019 saw the partici- pation of 3079 brands, 16% of which were international, from 43 countries. In 2019 it was attended by 82,551 professionals, 23% of whom from ab- road, from a total of 143 countries.
